  • 5 March: NATURAL HISTORY/WATCHER OF THE SKIES: The latest from the CFZ Fortean bird blog. In an article for the first edition of Cryptozoology Bernard Heuvelmans wrote that cryptozoology is the study of 'unexpected animals' and following on from that perfectly reasonable assertion, it seems to us that whereas the study of out of place birds may not have the glamour of the hunt for bigfoot, or lake monsters - it is still a perfectly valid area for the Fortean Zoologist to be interested in.
    5 March: CRYPTOZOOLOGY/BIGFOOT NEWS IN BRIEF
    Once upon a time, cryptozoological news stories were few and far between. However, these days with Bigfoot being a major factor in TV light entertainment, there are so many stories on the subject that we are forced into producing a daily digest. Caveat lector!
    5 March: CRYPTOZOOLOGY/LAKE AND SEA MONSTER NEWS: The hunt for Lake and Sea Monsters is probably the most iconic branch of Cryptozoology. Following our successful Mystery Cat and BHM Study Groups, we feel that these sightings should also be archived and published in a regular round-up of the stories as they come in.
