Much to my amusement, when I was setting this page out last night, a young person in my household (who shall remain anonymous) asked why a sea monster was on hard drugs. They had mistaken `Skeggy` (a colloquial term for the Lincolnshire seaside resort of Skegness) with `Scag` (a colloquialism for the juice of the fruit of the poppy). What a silly world it is in which we live!
